In addition to running guided bird-watching tours, West London Birding also provides an ornithological consultancy service.

We are able to conduct professional ornithological surveys and other services using a range of standardised and scientifically recognised techniques and methodologies. These include

  • Transect counts
  • Point Counts (e.g  for Waterfowl Monitoring)
  • Vantage Points Counts (e.g. for Windfarm Proposals)
  • Full Breeding Bird Surveys
  • Full Winter Bird Surveys
  • Specialist Species Surveying (e.g. Black Redstart).
  • Ringing Studies

Clients will receive full results and a comprehensive and detailed report.

In addition West London Birding can also provide

  • Nest Box Siting and Monitoring
  • Talks
  • Training on bird identification.
